I’m tired of seeing romance
in orange clouds of the city night sky
phantom glow of oil rhizome
leading to shopping malls
On these rocks now stands a city
surrounded by a bunch of nowhere towns
discomfort zones of pity
where lonely engines run
lanes that lead to nowhere
shine out to the orbit
ache in the night sky
above the sea of concrete
On a map from 1934
gravel roads skirt the city core
meandering streams and meadows
undulating reedy shores
And dark velvet ceiling
the carpet of spruces
night clouds are sailing
the moon rising from the north east
The river runs under the motorway
through the industrial wasteland
the river runs through the wild yard
under old linden trees
The river runs by the parking lot
by the fence of the airport
The river runs past the backyards of logistical centers
to the (bird) sanctuary by the sea
